Krupa Bharodiya
"I'm Krupa, a junior at NC State University majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I've minored in Political and Environmental Science. FBLA impacted my life by steering me towards my interests and resulting in me choosing my college major and ultimately, my career path. In 2022, I studied abroad at Copenhagen Business School and I was a summer intern at the White House within the Office of Management and Budget at the Executive Office of the President. This fall, I'm a marketing intern at a local small business, TouchPoint Wines, and I'm looking forward to continuing to apply the skills I learned during my time at PCHS FBLA at my new internship! I would highly recommend that students actively participate in FBLA at PCHS, it will help you in determining your interests!" |
Janvi Nandwani
Hi! My name is Janvi Nandwani and I am a first year Computer Science major at UNC Charlotte as a part of the University Honors Program. After college, I would like to possibly pursue a higher degree and then work in the tech industry. In my time at PCHS, I was a member of FBLA for all 4 years, and was a board member for 3 of them (VP of Membership, VP, and President). I had joined FBLA initially because my sister had been president of our chapter when she was in high school, but soon came to love the club myself and everything it had to offer. I would not be where I am right now without FBLA and the skills it has taught me such as communication, time management, and the ability to step out of my comfort zone. |
Ashley Rensburg
My name is Ashley Rensburg and I am currently a junior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am working towards a BS in International Business with a French language concentration. I joined FBLA my freshman year and it completely influenced my collegiate experience for the better. FBLA recognized my ambitious character and refined my critical thinking, networking, and public speaking skills. I would not have gone into my university years with the same sense of direction had I not been introduced to these concepts’ years prior. This coming Spring 2023 I will be attending Université Jean Moulin Lyon III in Lyon, France. I am beyond thrilled about this opportunity and I must give FBLA credit for giving me the confidence to pursue such a venture! |
Lukas Happe
Hello all, My name is Lukas Happe and I was a part of the FBLA from 2015-2018. I competed at states in Public Speaking and eventually competed in Agriculture Business at Nationals in 2018. Post FBLA I currently attend one of the best Universities in the Midwest and study Marketing and Finance. The opportunity of FBLA gave me positions in Insurance sales, fitness management, and Strategic Controlling roles and one of the best agricultural firms in the world. The opportunities I got in this program have prepared me through the roof at my University and professional roles across the board. Manas Takalpati
Hey, I’m Manas Takalpati, a member of the class of 2023 at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in business administration and computer science. In high school, I was an active member of FBLA and had the opportunity to go to nationals for video game design in Atlanta (which probably was the best travel experience of my HS years). It’s what inspired me to pursue the global business study abroad program I’m doing at UNC right now called GLOBE – which is a year and half of experiential business education in Hong Kong, Copenhagen, and the United States. I never used to think too much about business and the skills it teaches until I started participating in organizations like FBLA. As a current startup founder (check out our website at www.roomadillo.com), I’ve realized that early business education and inspiration is key to developing the growth mindset needed in the fast paced business world that we live in today. Some of the best people I’ve known were those I met and worked with in FBLA, and we shared memories that I’ll carry for the rest of my life, especially our time at states and internationals! |
Hasitha Tatineni
Hi, my name is Hasitha Tatineni. I am a junior at East Carolina University majoring in Public Health with a minor in Composite Science. I am in the Honors College and an Early Assurance Scholar which means I have a guaranteed seat in Brody School of Medicine. In order to receive these scholarships, I had to go through many rounds of interviews and applications. I believe FBLA and the great advisors have helped me out tremendously in this process by boosting my confidence, enhancing my public speaking skill, and helped me go out of my comfort zone. This has proved to bee very beneficial when it comes to trying out new clubs or classes at college and try to make a difference as a leader. |
Joshua Cherian
I am currently attending The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I am a senior majoring in Management Information Systems. My college experience has been very insightful so far, as I have been able to learn a lot about myself and where I can improve on things within my life. FBLA helped shape my college experience because it allowed me to learn about all the different possibilities within business and actually helped me choose my major. I chose Management Information Systems because I wanted a major that allowed me to combine my passion for technology with business as well. Furthermore, I was recently an Enterprise Operations Intern for Wells Fargo in Charlotte, NC this past summer and expect to continue with the company in a full time capacity after graduation. |
